The commune of Grodków is located in the western part of the Oploskie Voivodeship, in the Brzeski District.
The commune covers the area of 286 km2 and has approximately 20,000 inhabitants. It consists of Grodków, Osiedle Półwiosek, and 35 village councils. The commune is situated at the route Wrocław-Nysa-Głuchołazy, about 8 km from the A-4 motorway.
The investment areas in the town belong to the Grodków Subzone as part of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone.
Tourists can see numerous monuments, inter alia, the church of Saint Michael Archangel from the XIII century, the fragments of medieval framings, the palaces in Sulisław and Kopice as well as the neo-gothic castle in Jędrzejów.
