The Prudnik Commune is located in the Opole Voivodeship across the Polish- Czech border. This border includes the territory of 12000 hectare. Its population numbers up to 30000 inhabitants.
The Commune is a place with well-developed technical and social infrastructure. The town is the area covered by the Development plan. Furthermore, the Commune has well-prepared investment areas, which constitute the subzone for the Special Economic Zone WSSE Invest Park in Wałbrzych.
What is more, foreign as well as national enterprises function on these areas. Monuments, observation towers, tourist paths, and agritourism are the aspects that attract many visitors. Moreover, the Wok’s Tower, one of the oldest monuments in Opolszczyzna, can be found in this place. The Towers of the Urban Walls, and so called Wieża Bramy Dolnej are presentable monuments of the fortifications of the architecture of Prudnik.
The market square delights with its representative town hall and such baroque monuments as: the Statue of St. Jan Nepomucen, the Marian Column and fountains. The Commune is surrounded by the network of hiking paths and trails.
